EN 1728 Household Seat Strength and Durability

BS EN 1728 is based on the CEN / TC207 Technical Committee to develop the strength and durability related to furniture seats in the European test standard test method, this specification applies to Europe to sell the home seats. There are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom and other countries and regions together to do this a standard. 

BS EN1728 test items are including: 

※ Static test: With the heavy-duty times, ensuring the highest seat load capacity and strength tests. 

※ Impact test: After BS EN1728 test to assess the impact of the load capacity of the seat.

※ Fatigue testing: a long simulation re-use, load, moving parts, in order to understand the whole and the parts of the seat durability 

BS EN1728 standard applies only to regulate the seat.

BS EN1728 standard definition:

※ Structure: refers to the load-bearing furniture, such as: frame, seat parts, back and arm support and help suspension.

※ Tripod: refers to the seating area extensions supporting seat foot.
